In this course, you’ll learn basic-to-intermediate front end development skills. You’ll learn to build webpages in HTML, style and animate them in CSS, bring them to life with JavaScript, and work with coding tools used by professional developers. Whether you’re brand new to coding or already have some skills, you’ll walk away from this course having made your very own project to be proud of.

WHO IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE FOR?

This is course is perfect for those new to coding or who may only have a rudimentary understanding of coding/ the tech environment.

The course is also excellent for people with a business idea that they wish to develop, as this course provides an opportunity to help budding entrepreneurs ask questions about some of their challenges, and a supportive environment to get help and guidance as a business idea develops into reality.

Becky Bolton is a professional Front End Developer at unbound.com. She’s been tinkering around with code since she was 13, and finally decided to do it for a living at 29 after graduating from the Web Development Immersive bootcamp at General Assembly. Her other passions besides coding include teaching, playing guitar and losing her composure over cute dogs.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

·       Laptop is required. Mac or Windows PC recommended

·       Willingness to learn and a sense of humour

·       Your children (if you want)

·       All other materials related to any project work will be provided

 

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your child with you, and provide the flexibility and support you need to make this happen. We offer on-site childcare from qualified Poppins App nannies. For those of you with young babies: come along, we are happy for you to bring them into the sessions with you if you’d be more comfortable.
