Ashish Gupta

First and foremost, Ash Gupta is the father of 2 wonderful kids. Completed studies at Eton and then a Masters in Engineering and Economics from Oxford University. He has 13 years of experience in the finance industry and most as recently Head of Commodities at UBS Investment Bank. He also have a Diploma in Law, started his own business, acts as a trustee for a charity that encourages life skills to children through football and a member of the UBS Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Bindi Karia, Innovation Expert + Advisor

Bindi is incredibly passionate about all things startup in Europe and connecting the dots between Investors, Founders, Corporates and Government, and as a result, has worked in and around technology startups for most of her career. As a Consultant (PwC Consulting), as a Corporate (Microsoft BizSpark /Ventures), as a Startup employee (Trayport), as an Advisor (Startup Europe, Startup Weekend Europe, Tech London Advocates), as a Connector (GQ UK, the IoD and Evening Standard have all recognised this) and until recently, as their Banker (Silicon Valley Bank) The entrepreneurs have influenced her so greatly over the years, that she is currently in the process of setting up her own venture, focused on advising and connecting, of course!

She currently sits on the Advisory Boards of five startups and one Venture Debt fund, as well as Digital Advisory Board of Shop Direct plc (Β£1.9bn t/o business), the Advisory Boards of European Innovation Council, Startup Europe (EU), Tech London Advocates,Ambassador for Innovate Finance, and just finished a term as trustee for TechStars Startup Weekend Europe.

She is a strong advocate for promoting Women in Tech, and as such, six of her Advisory Board roles are for women-founded businesses.

Bindi was born in the UK, raised in Canada, her entire family is from Kenya, but the lure of Europe especially London bought her back and kept her there!

Solape Hammond

Solape Hammond is a professional with over 17 years’ experience in Banking, Risk Management, Management Consulting and Financial Advisory. Solape is the Founder and Managing Director of Ten Talents Limited, a management consulting firm providing business planning, recruitment, advisory and programme management services to a wide variety of companies. Solape also previously served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Calag Capital Limited, a financial advisory firm based in Lagos with clients across Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia and other parts of Africa. Solape commenced her consulting career at Accenture, leaving as a Manager in the Finance and Performance Management Market Unit.

Amy Harms

Amy Harms is a software engineering leader focused on platform service delivery and reliability. She has led technical teams through service design and implementation into BAU & continuous delivery with a focus on Agile, security and DevOps. With a background in SaaS and enterprise software, she brings real life expertise and focuses on the "live-site first" mentality required to make a service successful with the commercial insight into the business factors that drive the service. Most recently, Amy has been focused on redesigning and improving a continuous integration/delivery pipeline, implementing an incident management framework to drive a "live site first" culture, and producing a healthy service-scaled, PaaS platform capable of leveraging big data for advanced business intelligence and market competitiveness and meeting strict international security standards and compliance frameworks, eg SOX and PCI DSS.
